How to get job alerts from company career pages

You have a shortlist of employers. The next task is to keep up with their openings without repeating the same searches every day. Choose the method that covers your companies and gives you a useful amount of detail.

Start with the employer’s own careers page

Look for an alert, saved-search, or talent-community option on the careers page. If one is available, check whether it follows a specific search or sends general recruiting updates. Save a role and location filter when the site supports it, confirm your email, and note how to unsubscribe.

This is a useful starting point for a small shortlist. Each employer controls its own system; an email subscription is not a guarantee that every relevant vacancy will be included. If there is no alert option, keep the original careers-page link for manual checks.

Use LinkedIn when it covers your employers

LinkedIn supports company-specific alerts through a company’s Jobs tab. Its search alerts offer daily or weekly notifications. Check your filters and delivery preferences after setup.

These alerts cover postings available through LinkedIn. Compare the results with the employer’s careers page; do not assume either source is always first or complete.

Bring several employers into one Job Seek watchlist

1. Open Explore and search for the employers you want to follow. If you are still choosing companies, start with a role and location.
2. Add useful filters, such as work mode, employment type, or posting language. Avoid stacking so many conditions that you exclude useful roles.
3. Sign in and save the search as a watchlist. Company filtering is optional, and free accounts can keep up to 10 watchlists.
4. Verify your email and choose the watchlists to include in notifications in Settings. New matches arrive in one weekly email with up to 20 roles. You can check your saved search between emails.

The company alerts page shows the workflow. If an employer is missing, submit a request; adding it depends on review and whether we can read its career page. You can revisit the feed between emails or pause notifications in Settings.

Check the details before applying

A role appearing in a feed is a starting point. Open the original posting and check the location restrictions, working language, hours, and application instructions. Remote does not necessarily mean any country, and a missing requirement does not prove that your preference is met.

Save a suitable role on Job Seek and use the application tracker to record your progress. It tracks jobs saved on Job Seek; applications from other websites cannot be added.
